About Us
We
(Allan, Helen, Adam and Mark) are located on a free range sheep
and beef farm approximately 25 minutes from Feilding.
We have been farming for 15+ years, and decided more than 3
years ago to sell our fresh farm lamb direct to the consumer
through the markets and online.
The farm is run by the Bartlett family - Allan, Helen,
Adam and our team of Master Butchers.
The Farm
Wai-ora
is a 470 hectare summer dry hill country property. The farm
consists of rolling to moderate hill country and includes approximately
20 hectares of native and exotic forestry.
We are a sustainable farming business and are part of the Horizon
Regional Council's Whole Farm Plan.
Our Lamb Meat
Wai-ora
implements the New Zealand Food Safety Programme and all our
lamb meat is fully inspected for sale to the consumer. Wai-ora
lamb is prepared for you at our licensed premises by a great
team of people. We have low food miles, which makes our meat
some of the freshest available. Our lambs are free range and
grazed on natural pasture.
We provide individual cuts of lamb meat from markets located
at Lower Hutt, Wellington, Palmerston North and Feilding
... or you can order a half or whole lamb online through our
website.
